Hi Everyone,
We received a phone call last night that my father-in-law was admitted into the hospital. He was found by his neighbor wandering around his front yard in a confused state of mind. Right now we are waiting for CAT scan results.
He is an insulin dependent diabetic so my first thought was that his blood glucose went out of control. Now we are thinking it is strictly neurological...possibly Alzheimer's. His own mother had the disease and he does not take good care of himself so it would not be surprising.
Unfortunately we live across the country so we can't be right there. I see a plane trip in the very near future. I'll keep updating the blog as I can. I have kept my appt for next week for the lymphatic massage so I'll update afterwards unless the situation with my father-in-law changes.
