Hi Everyone,
I had another good visit with Dr. Asa the other day. I had been feeling sick to my stomach so he checked that out. He seems to think it is a symptom of the yeast coming out of my body so he cut in half the yeast balance that I'm taking. It seems to be helping.
I also have some muscle in my abdominal area that keeps knotting up so he used a laser on that today instead of his torturous massage. I could handle the laser much better.
I'm still wearing the knee brace at Jazzercise so he worked on both of my knees. They no longer are hurting. He also gave me another "chiropractic" treatment on my neck and back.
We also discussed my youngest daughter. A coworker of my husband's mentioned to me that she may be a high functioning ADHD. I never really thought about this before so I researched a bit of info and she does fit the description. However a lot of hyper, intelligent kids would fit that description so who knows if there is anything really wrong. And even if there was something amiss, we all know I wouldn't drug her! After we move I'll take her in and have Dr. Asa check her out.
Today we are in negotiations about repairs on our house from the home inspection and we are also making offers/counteroffers on a house we would like to purchase. We will be moving around Labor Day weekend. I do see Zhana and Dr. Asa before the move so I will do my best to post about those visits soon after they happen.
Have a great week!
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
I found your blog while doing a search on Asa Andrew. I live in Monterey, TN and am not happy with the doctors here. I have hormonal problems, yeast, food intolerances, chronic pain, PMS, and more. I was wondering if you can tell me what kind of diet Dr. Andrew put you on. I could not find it anywhere in your posts.
It sounds like you are happy with him which is nice. We have spent a lot of money on my health but I need to get better.
Thanks,
Kristina
Hi Debbie,
Another question. Dr. Asa is out until October but I could see Dr. Karen or Dr. Scott for my initial visit. Do you know anything about them?
Thanks,
Kristina
Kristina,
Dr. Asa put me on the diet that is in his book, Empowering Your Health. You can probably find his book at Barnes & Nobles, Borders, Amazon, etc. There is a wealth of info in there. Also, I use recipes from Dr. Mercola's Total Health book. The last half of that book is actually a recipe book. Dr. Asa is a wonderful dr. If you go to see him, take a list of questions. He will actually take the time to listen. I hope that helps and good luck to you.
Debbie
Kristina,
I have not seen Dr. Scott nor Dr. Karen so unfortunately I cannot help you with that question. Maybe someone else reading this blog can? Anyone?
Debbie
Thanks Debbie - I appreciate the feedback. If I am not getting any answers soon I will consider seeing Dr. Andrew. Since I can't see him until October anyhow I have time to decide. My concern is being able to afford it.
I wish you the best of health.
Kristina
Oh, one more question. How does he treat hormonal imbalances? Does he use bio-identical hormone creams or just things like DHEA, etc?
