Answers from Dr. Asa Andrew & the kids' xrays

Hello Everyone,

The first thing I want to say is that I'm thankful I have a dr. who cares. I did not have an appointment but Dr. Asa squeezed me in to his already packed schedule after I spoke with him to find out what was going on. I really appreciated the time he spent speaking with me and the subsequent appointment.

So, here's the good news! I'm not crazy after all! The weird psychological effects I was having was NOT due to the heavy metal balance or any other supplement I have been taking. It was due to a combination of things, but the main culprit was/is my estrogen levels. Estrogen is actually in 3 parts and right now I can't remember what the names of the three are, but one of them was off. The one that was off can either make you weepy/crying, etc. or it can make you feel aggressive or a combo of both. Unfortunately with me, it had the aggressive effect. However, at least I know what is causing this and that there is a solution. After some testing, Dr. Asa prescribed some drops for the next month and we are going to see if that makes a difference. Oh, and before the good natured jokes start with all the men out there, the low estrogen levels can affect the male population in the same manner. :)

Now for the kids...All three have inflammation issues. The most severe case seems to be in my youngest. My son has a great spinal structure, however my two girls need some work. I am going to start all 3 of them on Phase 1 of Dr. Asa's Food Guide. I'm also going to start them on the Foundational Four, which is enzymes, probiotics, cod liver oil and a multivitamin.
My youngest is already depressed b/c she won't be able to have her favorite peanut butter toast for a while. Oh, well, she will get over it with the help of a chocolate protein shake. :) The next thing on the list for the kids is to get their labwork done.

I also got to meet someone who reads my blog today at the office. That was really neat. If any of you see me, please say hi. I would love to meet you.

I see Dr. Asa again in a week and the kids in two. I'll keep you posted. Have a great week!
Debbie
