Hi Everyone,
First I hope you all had a Happy Easter weekend! We celebrated my birthday late with friends and family on Saturday night. Adults and kids had a lot of fun with plenty of good food and cheesecake. I LOVE cheesecake but managed to stay away from it. I'm still patting myself on the back for that one!
Unfortunately we have been dealing with flu like symptoms ever since! With that said, I'm keeping this post brief so I can get a good night's rest before the start of my little vacation tomorrow. I am so excited to be going with a great group of gals to a wonderful convention. Four days of peace and quiet if I want it. Yessss!
One thing I will address tonight is Anonymous comments. I LOVE getting comments on this blog and I will post them as long as they are NOT Anonymous. If you have a gripe about me, this blog, any of the dr.'s, books, articles, links, etc. mentioned on this blog, then be willing to put your name and credentials in your comments. And if you are just plain nasty, sarcastic, and rude, then I won't post it. This blog is to inform people of my journey back to health. There are other places you can go if you feel the need to vent.
I also have not posted some comments that contain personal email addresses and phone numbers. This is for your privacy and protection.
Okay, enough said on all of that. I had strained my neck/upper back muscles exercising with a resistance band(I won't even try to explain how!) and, at my last couple of visits with Dr. Asa Andrew, he gave me a chiropractic treatment on my neck, back & hips and I'm almost as good as new. We have discussed cinnamon and I started using it. I am currently taking it after each meal and right before I go to bed. It has dropped me by over 100 "points" on my glucometer but then my glucose reading went up again after some stress. So, when my stress level is low, my glucose readings are A LOT lower, but when my stress level is high, my glucose readings really go up. Obviously stress is a major factor in all of this for me. I walked into Dr. Asa's office a couple of weeks ago and said, "I think I need a vacation!"...and he wholeheartedly agreed. With that said,
I'm off to catch some Zzzz's before my trip. I'll let you all know what my glucose readings do while I try to relax. :)
Have a great week!

Hi there! Great news about cinnamon, who knew! :) I have a blog too but I have it set so that I have to invite readers to it. I can add you in if you want! :)
Thanks, Jocelyn!
