Liver and Metformin

Hi Everyone,
I forgot to mention this in my last post. If you have been following this, then you all know I took Metformin for about a week. Now I do realize that Dr. Morgan said I wouldn't see any effects from this drug for about 3 months. However, after only the one week, my liver was so congested that they lasered it at The Center for Natural Medicine. There was no change in my blood sugar readings. My biggest concern with this drug is the long term effects on my liver. Currently my liver is fine. I only have one and I don't want to mess with it! Anyway, I'm off of the Metformin for now.
