Hi Everyone,
Well it's been a busy summer. My family and I are still competing in Taekwondo tournaments and doing quite well. All of us have a chance to be State Champs with a lot of work. My husband & I are playing sand volleyball on Monday nights and I'm also squeezing in some Jazzercise to boot so it's been a little crazy.
Despite all the exercise and the diet plan, my body is not doing so well overall. Yesterday Dr. Asa tested me and my liver is weak. Obviously this is not good news. He also put me on a heavy metal detox which almost caused me to pass out in church. He suggested I cut the dosage in half. I haven't taken any since, but I might try it again with a lesser dosage. With my schedule, I can't risk passing out with the kids in my care.
I met someone today who's father is seeing Dr. Asa. He is a diabetic and after 6-8 weeks he is off all of his medication. I'm really happy this works for some people. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working for me. I can't afford to lose any more weight, I have tweaked my diet as much as I can with my current lifestyle, and I'm exercising all the time. I'm really not sure what my next step should be. I am very frustrated at this point.
I do know that I've been under a lot of stress lately concerning our future and where we are going to live. We have had semi serious discussions about leaving the country, but this would only happen after a lot of prayer and receiving clear direction from God Himself. All options are on the table right now.
Anyway, that's it for right now. I can only pray for a better dr.'s report next week. Until then, make the best of today.

Debbie - Leaving the country? Wow - apparently a lot has gone on since the last time we were able to chat. I am sorry to hear your health is where it is now - God is our healer. We had an awesome night at church tonight with a man from Holland who flew into to speak to our church and the message actually was on healing. It was INCREDIBLE - we will have to get you the CD.
