Hi Everyone,
We now have a new water pipe and water back to the house! Yea! My health situation is unchanged and I will be calling Dr. Mercola's office in the next week to see what I need to do next. In the meantime, I wanted to tell you about another dr. who has captured my interest. His name is Dr. Asa Andrew and he is located right here in Nashville, TN.
He spoke to the employees at my husband’s work and was incredible. He was a bodybuilder and looked to be in supreme health. He then found out he had diabetes and started his research from there and now no longer has the diabetes. He IS a Christian, which is huge in my book. He has written a book called, Empowering Your Health that I highly recommend. I have read about half of it and it contains a wealth of information. He also has a highly informative radio show where he will take your calls and give you advice for your health situation. Check out www.asaandrew.com for more details.
Since I already started with Mercola’s program, I am going to call them to see what my next step is. However, if what I'm doing through the Optimal Wellness program does not work, I can now go to someone a little more local who holds a similar philosophy to Dr. Mercola.
Enjoy your Weekend!

Another Water Problem!
Well, when it rains, it pours! The meter reader turned off our water yesterday because the meter was spinning out of control and we had used 167,000 gallons of water! Mark and the plumber have spent the morning digging for the leak and have not found it yet. With that much water, you would think it would be obvious, but it's not showing up anywhere. Mark sent the plumber home and went back to work. He is going to have to rent a digger and dig up the yard until we find the broken line. In the meantime, we have no water to flush toilets or take showers with. We have bought tons of water, but I think we are going to get a hotel so we can at least take showers.
With all of this going on, I haven't had time to post anything health related. I haven't learned anything new to share, but when I do I will post it on here.
Take Care and Be Well,
Debbie

The Sneaky Chef
Hi Everyone,
I just had to get on here and tell you all what a HIT my first Sneaky Chef recipe was. I made the meatloaf with the green puree(consisting of broccoli, peas, & spinach) and it was really good. We all liked it and even tried it on one of Mark's coworkers and he thought it was good too. I can't stand broccoli, peas or spinach so I was very surprised when I couldn't taste any of them in the meat. I did add my usual spices and voila'! I have a winner!
I used 1/2 ground turkey and 1/2 ground venison for my meat. I also used this same mixture to make meatballs. I then served them with homemade spaghetti sauce and gluten free Quinoa noodles. It tasted like regular spaghetti. YUMMY!
I will probably try her Mac N Cheese recipe next. Until then, stay healthy and well. :)

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I have had a nice little vacation and I hope you all have too. We just arrived back from AZ at 2am. We only saw family this time since my main focus was on seeing my mother(for those of you just reading this blog, she has Alzheimer's). She was doing much better than I expected but didn't have a clue who I was. I was expecting that so that wasn't a shock. She is in a great care facility with very loving caregivers. I am so thankful for that.
While I was there, my sister-in-law gave me a copy of the book, The Sneaky Chef. I read about 4 chapters on the plane and I think it will have some useful information. As I try some recipes, I'll let you all know what my family thinks of them and if my kids will REALLY eat those veggies.
That's all I have time to write right now. I'm busy unpacking. We have renewed motivation to sell this place!
Take Care of Yourselves,
